The “Email” component might look like a “Short question” at first glance but there is a major difference between the two. This component validates whether or not it is an email address. While we can not guarantee if it is actually an existing email address FormFinch does automatically check the format.
We also use the e-mailadres collected with this component as the reply address when you turn email notifications for form submissions on with the setting to receive the submission data as the email content.
